Days of Future Past explores the act of envisaging beautiful things that have come eventually passing. This nostalgia for the coming future that is destined to end evokes an inevitable sadness: seeing the present with a past tense, a familiar future in the past. It speaks to the central theme of life residing within time — the agonising acceptance at the height of our passion, that all things pass.
